Agadeìta debuts for the first time at VinoVip. The new Cortina grappa, created by the master distiller Roberto Castagner, will be present this weekend in wine shops, at the Cooperativa di Cortina and in shop windows with tasting proposals paired with the strudel.
The new grappa, created by master distiller Roberto Castagner, an Italian signature of excellence for quality spirits, as a tribute to the “Queen of the Dolomites”, is presented for the first time to some of the most influential personalities and companies in the Italian wine sector .
«Agadeìta – explains Roberto Castagner – is becoming the grappa of connoisseurs, those who also seek the best quality in wine. We will present it at the “Notte delle Stelle”, the gala dinner hosted by the starred chef Graziano Perst scheduled for Sunday evening at the Chalet Tofane, and on Monday afternoon at the “Wine Tasting delle Aquile”, the exclusive tasting table that will take place at over 2000 meters above sea level of the Faloria Refuge in an exceptional setting: our wonderful Dolomites”.
But the Castagner Distillery has organized other tasting moments in the city. Agadeìta will be present this weekend in wine shops, at the Cooperativa di Cortina and in shop windows with tasting proposals paired with the strudel.
Agadeìta means “water of life” in Ladin, an evocative name and a frank sound that recalls the authenticity and deep connection with the culture and tradition of Cortina. The name was suggested by Elsa Zardini, president of the Union de i Ladis de Anpezo. The “Cortina” and “scoiattolino” brands, present on the label, represent a graphic synthesis of the place of origin.
Agadeìta can boast the name “Grappa Vigneti delle Dolomiti”. The grapes come, in fact, from vineyards grown in the Belluno area and are vinified in the Dolomite area. Agadeìta has a lively aroma that ranges from enveloping floral and white fruit aromas to hints of blackberry and raspberry with balsamic and mineral notes in a sensation of extraordinary intensity.
Grappa Agadeìta is offered in two versions: white grappa in a classic 70 cl bottle produced in 2,500 examples and Rara white grappa in luxury packaging in a 70 cl decanter bottle produced in another 500 examples. The equivalent of another 3 thousand bottles of Agadeìta has been placed in barriques to become a reserve in two years and will be ready for the 2026 Milan-Cortina Olympics.
