The Trentino Wine and Flavors Route lands in Sicily. From 29 to 31 July, in fact, the Association which brings together over 300 realities of the Trentino tourism and food and wine sector, will be the protagonist of the “Terre Sicane Wine Fest”, an event promoted by the Terre Sicane Wine Route and other local bodies and institutions dedicated to Sican wines and the flavors of Belice, scheduled in the medieval Cloister of the Abbey of Santa Maria del Bosco in Contessa Entellina, in the province of Palermo.
“Wines from native vines, small denominations and great classics – comments Michele Buscemi, President of the” Enonauti “Association, coordinator of the event – which, in full style with the productions proposed at the” Terre Sicane Wine Fest “, are an expression of community local and traditions “.
“A twinning – explains Sergio Valentini, President of the Trentino Wine and Flavors Route – born thanks to the network work carried out by our representative Francesco Antoniolli within the National Federation of Wine, Oil and Flavors Roads of ‘Italy, where he holds the role of Vice President, which represents a great opportunity to further promote our work and our associates beyond our provincial borders and to activate profitable exchanges of experience and know-how with a very interesting reality in the sector “.
During the three Sicilian days, tasting stands, masterclasses and experiences are scheduled. The Trentino Wine and Flavors Route, in particular, will be involved in a tasting dedicated to the Trentino white wines offered together with Donnafugata wines; in a tasting of “testimonial” Trentino wines – and therefore Teroldego Rotaliano, Marzemino, Müller Thurgau, Nosiola and, of course, Trentodoc – paired with Sicilian wines and a conference entitled “Slowness is beauty”, where a speech by Vera Rossi, councilor of the Association, to talk about the “slow” tourism projects carried out in recent years and the next ones planned.
In all, fifteen member wineries that have joined this opportunity, representing the various territories that make up the Association: Agraria Riva del Garda, Endrizzi Elio e F.lli Agricultural Company, Marco Donati Agricultural Company, Maso Grener Agricultural Company, Cantina d’Isera, Endrizzi Winery, La Vis Winery, Mori Colli Zugna Winery, Roverè della Luna Aichholz Winery, Cavit, Cembra Mountain Winery, Cesarini Sforza, Gaierhof, Maso Poli, Villa Persani. Eighteen, in particular, the tasting labels, proposed by the AIS sommelier, which will thus be able to respond to all the curiosities of the public of enthusiasts present.
