From May 9th to 18th, a new project that celebrates Jesolo as a destination of taste. Twelve culinary experiences to savor in as many restaurants of the seaside city.
Jesolo transforms into the capital of taste with the Jesolo Gourmet Festival , a new event that celebrates Italian haute cuisine and confirms the famous seaside resort as a destination of gastronomic excellence. From 9 to 11 and from 16 to 18 May , the city will host 12 exclusive gourmet dinners curated by as many starred chefs in selected Jesolo restaurants . An unmissable opportunity to taste signature menus and discover the best of catering in one of the most renowned tourist destinations in Italy.
The initiative, organized by Globetrotter Gourmet – a content provider specialized in communication for the food & beverage sectors – in collaboration with the Municipality of Jesolo and the Consortium of Tourist Businesses JesoloVenice , was born with the aim of enhancing the local gastronomic offering, transforming Jesolo into a gourmet destination .
“The event – says Marco Colognese , creative director of the festival and food and wine critic – was born from the idea of making Jesolo an exceptional showcase to tell a cross-section of Italian haute cuisine in the different expressions of the menus of chefs with unique personalities, such as Terry Giacomello, Stefania di Pasquo and Alessandro Breda. A representation of the state of the art for a solid gastronomic segment in a moment of vital transition for a brilliant future of the new Italian cuisine, the result of the expertise of great professionals in the sector”.
The 12 restaurants selected to host the exclusive gourmet dinners offer unique settings, from the sea view to the lagoon hinterland. Many are located on the coast, such as Fisherman , Amarmio , Hotel Falkensteiner , Terrazza Aurora and, near the lighthouse, TerrazzaMare . Others are located in the heart of the lido, including Rossi Restaurant , Al Torcio , Ristorante da Omar and Jolà Emotional Cuisine , but there is no shortage of restaurants immersed in the greenery of the Venetian lagoon countryside such as Ristorante da Guido , Country House Salomè and Al Traghetto , also reachable by boat thanks to the private dock.

The event is part of a project that tends, therefore, to attract visitors interested in experiencing the area even beyond the beach and the summer season alone, deepening their knowledge of local products and realities.
