The 19th edition of DiVino Etrusco Tarquinia presented at Vinitaly 2025

The 19th edition of DiVino Etrusco, the eagerly awaited event that will liven up the historic center of Tarquinia from Thursday 21 to Sunday 24 August and from Thursday 28 to Saturday 30 August 2025, was previewed in the new spaces of the Lazio Pavilion at Vinitaly 2025 on April 8.

There will be over 40 participating wineries and more than 90 wines to taste, coming from the cities of the ancient Etruscan Dodecapoli: for Lazio, in addition to Tarquinia, Cerveteri, Veio, Vulci, Bolsena; for Umbria, Orvieto and Perugia; for Tuscany, Chiusi, Cortona, Arezzo, Volterra and Piombino. To all this is added the award-winning Tarquinia brandy.

“Having now become a historic event with its 19 editions – declared the Mayor of Tarquinia, Francesco Sposetti –, the DiVino Etrusco demonstrates every year the potential of a territorial promotion capable of uniting wine, culture and entertainment with the history of the places”. The regional councilor for Agriculture Giancarlo Righini, underlined the importance of the event, defining it among the most significant in Lazio. He also confirmed his presence at the inauguration.

Giulio Menegali Zelli Iacobuzi, president of the Regional Commission for Agriculture and Environment, highlighted the many aspects that make Tarquinia a unique city, capable of maintaining a virtuous balance between agriculture and tourism. The presentation was also attended by the extraordinary commissioner of Arsial, Massimiliano Raffa, the artistic director of DiVino Etrusco, the food and wine expert Carlo Zucchetti, and a delegation from the Municipality of Tarquinia.

The 2025 edition promises to be very rich: seven days in which wine will return to tell the ancient story of commercial alliances born with the Etruscans and today renewed through the glass. The tasting path will be enriched by street food, show cooking, live music, street artists and exhibitions, offering visitors an immersive experience among the most evocative places in the city. As part of the presentation of DiVino Etrusco, the third edition of “Degustazione DeWine” was illustrated, a format dedicated to the valorization of food and wine products of Lazio entirely subsidized by Arsial.

The DiVino Etrusco is organized by the Municipality of Tarquinia, in collaboration with the Pro Loco Tarquinia, with the contribution of the Lazio Region, Arsial, the Province of Viterbo, the Chamber of Commerce and the MiC – Archaeological Park of Cerveteri and Tarquinia, confirming the important institutional synergies put in place for the success of the event.
