From the heart of Piedmont to the world stage, from 6 to 15 September Barbera d’Asti will be the protagonist on stage for ten days of exclusive events
With great enthusiasm, the Barbera d’Asti e Vini del Monferrato Consortium is pleased to announce the upcoming ” BARBERA D’ASTI WINE FESTIVAL “, a high-level event with a strong international flavor that will take place in Asti from 6 to 15 September. “ What we will present in detail at the next press conference in June – says Vitaliano Maccario , President of the Consortium – intends to be an event capable of further projecting our territory on the international stage. Our objective is in fact to strengthen and promote the identity and visibility of Barbera d’Asti and our denominations – 4 Docg and 10 Doc – raising its prestige on a global level. From this spirit the Barbera d’Asti Wine Festival was born, a ten-day festival where a program of exclusive events will be staged. It’s time to invite enthusiasts from all over the world to discover with their own eyes the beauty and riches of Monferrato .” Thanks to the prestigious collaboration of the media partners Corriere della Sera and Gazzetta dello Sport, the festival aims to involve leading professionals and operators in a series of meetings, talks and tastings of the highest level which promise to enliven and amaze all participants in the magical setting of the historic center of the city of Asti. “ The program we are finalizing aims to tell the thousand facets of our territory in a new, modern and engaging way also thanks to the participation of a prestigious audience of guests and a series of meetings that will range from wine, to art, to culture.
