THE NIGHT OF ROSE WINES RETURNS, SATURDAY 20 JULY AT THE ROYAL CASTLE OF MONCALIERI

SATURDAY 20 JULY from 7pm to midnight Rose Garden, Royal Castle of Moncalieri piazza Baden Baden 4, Moncalieri.

From Piedmont to wineries throughout Italy, an evening under the stars of Moncalieri to talk about the great variety and excellence of rosé wines. More than 50 wineries in addition to the exclusive participation of the Bardolino Wine Consortium.

The third edition of the “Night of Rosé Wines” begins, the largest event dedicated to the heritage of rosé wines in Piedmont , on Saturday 20 July from 7pm to midnight, at the Rose Garden in the Royal Castle of Moncalieri.

Italy, after France and Spain, has become the largest producer of rosé wines in Europe, with a huge variety of variations, through the rosé vinification of the great native vines of our territory .

Rosé wines have found wide diffusion and strong interest among the public thanks to their versatility and freshness , becoming the wine trend of summer 2024 .

“The Night of Rosé Wines” will be an opportunity to get to know this great heritage , from north to south, through over 50 wineries : from the Adriatic sea with the De Antonis winery, to the Oristano area, on the Sinis peninsula, with Franco Ledda, from the Eastern Riviera of Ca Ferrua, the Vesuvius National Park with Casa Setaro and then the Umbrian Apennines with Tenuta Baroni Campanino, the Pontine countryside with Casale del Giglio, Molise with Di Majo Norante, the heroic Imperia viticulture of Fontanacota and the Sibillini Mountains National Park with Coppacchioli Tattini. Finally, the journey continues with Masciarelli from San Marino, Russo & Longo from Crotone, crossing Trentino with Tenuta San Leonardo, the lands of classic Chianti with Vignamaggio and Puglia with the San Marzano winery.

Piedmont will be at the centre , with its variations, from the Langhe to Monferrato, from Asti to Alessandria, through the participation of Castelvej, Rigo, Cantina sociale Barbera dei sei castelli, Cascina Gilli, Cordara, Cournaja, Diego Pressenda, Franco Ivaldi , Cantina Maranzana, Marco Bonfante, Cantina Mascarello Michele e Figli, Paschetta, Pietro Rinaldi, Tenuta Genevrina, Tre Secoli, Vaudano Enrico e Figli, Venturello Ezio.

The protagonist of the “Night of Rosé Wines” will be the Chiaretto di Bardolino , the best-selling rosé in Italy and an authentic expression of the Lake Garda area, thanks to the collaboration with the Bardolino Wine Consortium which will tell us about the wines of more than 25 wineries.

Famous for its light pink color with orange nuances, obtained with the pink vinification of Corvina grapes, with fragrances ranging from flowers to aromatic herbs, from citrus fruits to apricots and berries, the Chiaretto di Bardolino, on the palate, it is fresh and with characteristic “saline” mineral notes, typical of wines that come from vineyards grown on soils of morainic origin, which make it light and versatile.

During the Night of Rosé Wines you can listen to the DJ set by FORMINA and visit the Royal Castle of Moncalieri , the royal apartments as well as tasting the culinary excellence of Egregio .
